Besides the standard installment fee, there are no extra fees associated with any of Otsego County Patrons payment options.

You cannot change installment payment due date, but we do have flexible installment options.

You can file a claim by contacting your Otsego County Patrons agent in person or over the phone. You can also file a claim online here.

If the date of cancellation for non-payment has passed, prior approval must be obtained along with payment of policy and a statement of no loss. If a policy has been canceled and removed from the system entirely, a new policy will need to be written with any earned premium plus 50% of the new policy.

Your policy is a contract. We must adhere to the contract terms of this contract. Many policies are “named peril” policies which states that the damage must be causes by a named peril, like a fire. Most policies are not covered for “wear & tear”. If a roof, boiler, etc have failed because they have reached the end of their useful life, that is wear and tear.
