Through the New York Insurance Association (NYIA), Otsego County Patrons support the Thank Goodness for Insurance campaign. TGFI provides individuals information about insurance and why it is an essential part of society. The program features information about auto insurance, homeowners insurance, business insurance, and renters insurance, as well as instruction and advice about trending insurance-related topics. We offer our additional Equipment Breakdown Enhancement Endorsement on all our Homeowners, Manufactured Homeowners, Landlord and Fire policies to cover the cost of expensive property repairs. This coverage may help property owners cover the costs of electrical, mechanical, and pressure-related repairs. Click here for more information.

The New York State Department of State Office of Fire Prevention and Control demands that any hazardous materials that are found on a property be immediately reported to insurers and state agencies. Click here to access this form.

A No Loss Statement is a report that signifies that a policyholder has no current losses or damages that could lead to claims. For former policyholders who have let their policy lapse or for a policy that has been canceled, this form is mandatory before an insurer can move forward reinstating or issuing a new policy.
